生田神社での茶事に参加してきました。

正午の茶事と言って、もっとも正式な形でのお茶をいただきました。

本来であれば、何年もお茶のお稽古をしてからってなのだけど、CHABITOさんでは、日本の文化を広くわかってもらうために初心者も楽しめるようにとのイベントをしてくださっています。

風薫る季節、都会の中にある緑のオアシスでの穏やかな茶の湯の時間は心が癒されました。

堅苦しくないので、質問も気軽にできるし、日本の文化や歴史に造詣の深い亭主との軽妙なやり取りは最高のおもてなしです。

茶の湯と言うと正座が大変と思われがちですが、こちらではリラックスして茶を楽しむをモットーにされているので、その心配もありません。

車いすのお客様にはそのままで大丈夫な対応もしてくださいます＾＾

薫風の茶事～炭手前から趣向の凝った懐石、お菓子そのあとの中立ち、そして心がピンって張りつめる心地よい緊張感の濃茶、寛いだ雰囲気の薄茶、芸術品と呼べるたくさんのお道具と共に楽しみました。

最後は亭主の小早川宗護さん直々に丁寧に茶のたて方を教えてもらい、贅沢な４時間を過ごしました。

日本の文化にどっぷりと浸った半日でした。

SHOUGO NO CHAJI, tea ceremony at noon is the most formal ceremony. You , normally, are required to learn at least a few years lessons to join, though, CHABITO provides beginners the ceremony wide openly to introduce Japanese culture.

You may feel free to ask any questions to the host who has lots of knowledge of Japanese history and culture. His free and witty talk is OMOTENASHI .

You might imagine to sit tightly at the tea ceremony, here CHABITO’s ceremony is not!

They think to feel comfortable is the most important to enjoy tea. Also,  they manage with people on the wheelchairs. NO BOTHERING!

KUNPU NO CHAJI , tea ceremony in the spring breath starts from SUMITEMAE , first tea. Goes into KAISEKI, full course Japanese cuisine and Japanese cake. after the break, you enjoy KOICHA, fomal tea in the serious atmosphere, and enjoy casual tea USUCHA. Lots of high class art Japanese teaware.  

Mr. Kobayakawa  gave me tea ceremony lessons. And it was all for the luxury four hours.

It is the Japanese Day!
